of Your Custom Home Portrait
Whether you just built your first home, are moving after many years or want a gift for someone else, I would be happy to explore a custom Home Portrait with you!
Each Home Portrait is a custom, one-of-a-kind painting.
They are hand drawn and painted by a human artist
using pencil, watercolor, pen & ink.
(No AI or Photo Shop is used in your painting)
The Process
STEP 1
Request a Quote
Fill out the Form below and upload 2-4 photos of the front of the house in the season you would like. Your quote will arrive the next business day via email.
STEP 3
Painting Is Underway
Once the Deposit is received, the drawing is adjusted and the painting begins! Standard size paintings take about 2 weeks. Larger ones take more time and that will be determined when we discuss details.
STEP 2
Let's Connect Live
After you review the Quote, we can meet by phone or Zoom to discuss details and identify things you do and don't want in the picture. Next, I begin drawing a Rough Draft in pencil and email it to you for Approval. Upon approval, a 20% non-refundable Deposit is required.
STEP 4
Portrait is Ready
Upon completion of your portrait you will receive an email with a link for the Balance of Payment. Once paid, your portrait will be securely shipped via USPS or a local pickup is arranged.
All Payments are collected online through the WIX payment system.
Credit Card and PayPal are accepted.
The Pricing
Home Portraits are available in two layouts. We can choose the one that best captures your scene during the Rough Draft stage. The 8 x10 inch layout is best for taller homes and the 6 x 12 inch works best for wider properties.
Frame sizes are recommended below, but you can get any custom size from your framer. Frames are not included with your portrait.
The Standard Price for either Layout is $300.
Additional costs apply for larger houses and intricate detail.

WINDOWS: 10 windows are included in the Standard price. Add $10 for each window over 10.

DOORS: 1 main door is included in the Standard price. Add $20 for each door over 1.

GARAGES: 2 garages are included in the Standard price. Add $25 for each additional garage.

HOUSE SECTIONS: 3 sections to the house are included. Additional sections and sheds are $100 each.

About the rough Draft
The Rough Draft is my pencil sketch of how the painting will fit inside the chosen layout. You will see where the house sits within the landscape and sky. It will not show color or details. The lines will be rough and then I clean them up, make them straight, use proper perspective, etc. before I start painting.
How will I know what the final will look like? When the painting is done! It may feel risky, which is why I offer the rough draft. To get a better feel, look at my other portraits. Each artist has their own style and you can trust that your rough sketch will transform into a painting of my style.
